How import works

1. Secret key

The key is read only in your browser.

2. Address check

SKITA derives the public Solana address from it.

3. Local encryption

The secret key is encrypted with your password.

4. Account session

Only public address is registered with SKITA APIs.

No recovery key?

If site data was cleared and you did not save the recovery secret key, the native wallet cannot be restored. Create a new wallet and back it up.
