What is SKITA Wallet? +
SKITA Wallet is a wallet-first Solana web app for creating or importing a browser-encrypted wallet, viewing portfolio data, sending and receiving assets, swapping tokens, and using KITA Gate features.
Is SKITA the same as Phantom? +
No. SKITA is its own wallet experience. V1 supports native SKITA wallet features and can also connect external wallets like Phantom or Solflare when needed.
Does SKITA store my seed phrase or private key? +
No. The wallet data is encrypted in your browser. The server stores wallet address, activity, portfolio metadata, rewards, chat, and app records, not your private key or seed phrase.
What is KITA Gate? +
KITA Gate is the ecosystem layer for KITA token features such as burn, rewards, XP, leaderboard, community chat, trivia, referrals, and future marketplace/staking/DAO modules.
Can I swap tokens inside SKITA? +
Yes. SKITA V1 uses the API layer for quotes/orders and local wallet signing in the browser. Your transaction must be signed by your active wallet.
Can I burn KITA? +
Yes. Burn flow sends KITA to the configured burn address and then verifies the transaction signature to add XP/reward records.
Why do I need a password when creating a SKITA wallet? +
The password encrypts the local browser keystore. It is not sent to the server. If you lose the password and seed phrase, the wallet cannot be recovered by SKITA.
Does SKITA support mobile and iPad? +
Yes. The UI is mobile-first and supports iOS, iPadOS, Android, and desktop browsers. External injected wallets usually work best inside their own in-app browsers on mobile.
Are Marketplace, Staking, DAO and Multisig available now? +
Not in V1. These modules have Coming Soon pages and waitlist support, while the main V1 focus is wallet, portfolio, swap, burn, rewards, chat, trivia, NFTs, and profile.
